Helping the youth girls of our community.

BIENVENIDOS A CASA DE TIÁ EMMA!

WHO WE ARE

Minority youth in our community face unique challenges, and for many, home offers little refuge. Casa de Tiá Emma is a space for girls ages 12-18 to cultivate the skills necessary to thrive in the face of adversity. Coming from diverse backgrounds, the niñas of Casa de Tiá Emma leverage their differences to promote learning, leadership, creativity and altruism.

Like a family, our girls laugh together, cry together, work together, and play together. They form a support network for each other where one is absent.

Regular outings and activities provide the release needed to overcome daily stress, and when it’s time to get to work, active tutoring allows the girls to take control of their education.

They use their knowledge to empower others, and as future leaders, they work to support their community as well. Volunteerism shows the girls that they can, in fact, make a difference, even if the world seems to work against them. As they support those in need, they grow the power necessary to overcome their own circumstances.

Casa de Tiá Emma is more than a just house, it’s a home - a home where your family is brimming with love and a desire to help you be the best you can be.

Come on in, the door is open. Tu familia está esperando. Your family is waiting.

Emma Santana

Hello,

I'm Emma, the founder of Casa Tia Emma. I have always had a vision to find a way to give back and help adolescents in the community. I hope that by starting this organization we can help many young girls find purpose, integrity and develop leadership skills. This program will provide community resources, tutoring and many others that will enable them to achieve personal goals that will assist with future endeavors. Thank you for all of your support and donations.
